- You’ll need:
- A laser printer (NOT inkjet)
- Heat press machine
- Scissors or a cutting tool
- Steps:
- Print Your Design
- Print on the uncoated (blank) side of the paper.
- Mirror the image before printing.
- Cut Out the Design
- Trim close to the edges to reduce excess transfer area.
- Pre-Press Your Garment
- Press the fabric for 3-5 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
- Place the Transfer
- Lay the printed design face down on the fabric.
- Heat Press
- Temperature: 375°F (190°C)
- Time: 25-30 seconds
- Pressure: Medium to heavy
- Peel the Backing
- Hot peel—peel the backing paper immediately after pressing.
- Cure (Optional)
- For longer-lasting prints, you can press again for 10 seconds with a parchment sheet.
